Whidbey Playhouse is holding a contest for local writers in celebration of its upcoming production of LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE, and your fashion story about your own experiences around that theme could be performed on stage by cast members of the Oak Harbor production.
Whidbey Playhouse is currently accepting submissions of stories about fashion, clothing, or accessories and the memories they trigger. Entries will be judged on creativity, quality of writing and stage adaptability. Winners will be contacted via email and announced on the Playhouse’s Facebook and Instagram pages on March 18, 2023.
Two winners will be selected, and each will have their story read on stage (one prior to with start of the March 24 performance, and the other prior to the start of the March 25 performance) and will receive two tickets to the performance. The Playhouse will post the winning essays on Instagram and Facebook.
